In 2008, founder of STL, Stephanie, followed her passion and took the plunge to build her dream wedding and event company. Since then, Stephanie has become an award winning WPIC Certified wedding Planner and Designer, as well as a certified Corporate and Conference Planner.

After many years of building their brand and perfecting their process, Stephanie has become a leader in the local wedding and event industry - consistently striving for change and focusing her efforts on education, industry awareness, standards and representation, all based on the drive to supporting local. She now has a dedicated team of event assistants and planners by her side that are committed to each and every client and are passionate about events and helping others —from consulting with newly engaged couples to corporate event planning to those wanting to superbly execute special occasions and social events. In 2019 Stephanie purchased Atlantic Wedding Showcase - Atlantic Canada’s largest and longest-running wedding show. Immediately, Stephanie sought to rebrand, revamp and remodel the show to show a major support for small to large businesses alike and provide a platform for the wedding and wedding adjacent industries to advertise, directly to their target market, what they do best. But soon, the new AWS brand faced the obstacles of a pandemic. To stay current, Stephanie planned a virtual wedding show (which has never been accomplished in Atlantic Canada) and multiple smaller in-person wedding events, to keep the industry in high spirits and at the forefront of every potential client’s mind. Since then, Stephanie has completed, with overwhelming success, more than one large-scale wedding show, held at The Halifax Convention Centre. In 2024 she will host their third event on Nov. 17th.
